Open the boat drain plug. Fully drain the engine, coolers and exhaust manifolds. Once everything\u2019s drained, close up the plugs.<\/p>\n                            <\/div> \n                        <\/div>\n                                                                    <div class=\"acc-each\"> \n                            <div class=\"acc-head\"> \n                              <span>7<\/span> Empty all the water <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/winterproofprotects.ca\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/drop_arrow.png\">\n                            <\/div> \n                            <div class=\"acc-body\"> \n                             <p>If your boat has a  drain cock open the tap and empty the water. Larger boats, or those with showers, toilets or other amenities may require more. Consult your boat&#8217;s manual or mechanic for the amount needed for your boat and its storage conditions.<\/p>\n                            <\/div> \n                        <\/div>\n                                                                    <div class=\"acc-each\"> \n                            <div class=\"acc-head\"> \n                              <span>9<\/span> Pour antifreeze into engine\u2019s main water supply <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/winterproofprotects.ca\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/drop_arrow.png\">\n                            <\/div> \n                            <div class=\"acc-body\"> \n                             <p>Locate the engine&#8217;s main water supply. Disconnect the hose and prepare to pour your WINTERPROOF\u2122 antifreeze. Before switching off the engine, spray fogging oil on the engine. You\u2019ll know it\u2019s enough when thick smoke comes out of the exhaust. Then turn off the water and the engine.
